Good morning world...

I am constantly amazed by the way perception and/or perspective influences our lives and how it/they appear to challenge the concept of "absoluteness". Where I am it is morning, where you are may be night! What we have in common is life so it may be more appropriate to greet,
Good life!?

Does the question,"What is truth?" have a universally acceptable answer?

Is there any absolute(truth) or is everything relative? Is it even valid or correct to make such an assumption that an absolute standard such as "truth" exists? From my perspective, it does and I cant imagine life without such.
But philosophers and thinkers, with minds far greater than mine, have grappled with this concept for aeons butI am not sure that they are they any closer to an answer?

Perhaps it doesn't really matter and we actually don't need to know?

But when I "look" at my life and the world in which I live(not to mention the planet on which I live) I can't help but wonder that ...;

In spite of all the technologies and discoveries and philosophies, the systems, the explanations,the solutions....... The world's inhabitants appear to be spiralling downwards into a state of increasing over-choice-based-indecision with life becoming more complex and confusing.

How is all our collective knowledge and experience of/through the ages being applied to avert what appears to be an escalating cycle of human (and other) crises both in frequency and intensity.

There again, perhaps its all relative and in "fact" and in "truth" things are as they have always been and always will be....it's just a matter of perception?

And so perhaps: there is no "Global warming"; the current economic situation is normal;
man's propensity for greed and violence is as it always has been; war is peace; right is wrong; and wrong is right.....?

Well I guess that because I think and therefor, I am........ I'll just go and have my Wheaties and get on with the day.
